The College of Lake County (CLC) is known for it’s innovative and engaging marketing concepts that must not only meet very targeted marketing objectives, but also be fresh, compelling and interesting to it’s wide student demographic. CLC turned to Meg & Me to develop a marketing campaign for Fall enrollment that could be adaptable to 11 different study programs, involve actual students, be visually engaging and unique, and introduce an intriguing message about their mission as a college—both in-person and online.

The campaign “connect & succeed” came from their mission to connect all students to a path of success, regardless of perceived obstacles or hesitations. CLC can provide the means for success through connecting you to the education you need for many career paths and options. This connection is in-person, online, with professors, with classmates, with transfer universities and with the career of your dreams.

Simple, graphic images with large color blocks (in branded colors) not only show the concept of connection, but use a modern style to portray the variety of CLC students. Art direction of actual students for all photography was provided to achieve a wide variety of branded people for the campaign. The students were used to build out an entire campaign for 11 programs of study that could be used in a massive marketing roll out for the Fall school year, including social media, digital ads, flyers, website pages, posters, postcards, mailings.
